We will get the family business over with first. Christmas is coming up pretty soon, so thanks to John and Piikea's reminder, we have who you will exchange gifts with. TJ has Kim, Jill has TJ, Kim has Mollie, Mollie has John, and John has Jill. Mollie, John and Piikea will be with us for Christmas. With that done, we had a great September. We have lived here for 6 years and have never taken the opportunity to drive to the mountains in the fall. So this year Tom took Friday the 26th off and we went to mountains. We first drove to Longmont to a Quilt Fair. With great interest and patience, Tom walked the entire Fair twice with me. It was alot of fun and we saw beautiful fabric, patterns and very expensive machines. After that we headed to the mountains. We had a beautiful day for the drive, and, of course, we drove the corvette with the top down almost all the way. At about 11,000 feet we did ran into a little snow shower, so we had to put the top up.

As you can tell the leaves were beautiful and very colorful. After this trip we decided we needed a new camera.
We also had some dear friends visit us. Linda and Jim Stolle come for a short visit. They were suppose to be here a little longer then a few days, but Hurricane IKE interfered with their plans. But we had a few days to visit before they needed to go to Keystone for Jim's business. It was great to see them and catch up with everything going on with them and their children.
We have a young man, Phil, living with us for a little bit. He works for the Boy Scouts and that is where Tom met him. He has been learning about the church for several months and he decided to be baptized. So it has been wonderful having the missionaries in our home and listening to the lessons and seeing Phil's tesitmony grow. On September 30 he was baptized by Tom.

Now for the sad news. Dad and I had decided to go with Pat and Mollie to the Holy Lands in May, but we have been reviewing everything and decided that we should not go. Mollie and Pat will still go and we are sure they will have a wonderful time.
