The J's Exciting Month

WOW!!!
What can happen in one month.

Jaxson
Our little walker
Josh, Sue, and I were sitting around talking and that is when Jaxson decided he wanted to walk to me; three big steps :) We all clapped and laughed for him. He still crawls a little when he wants to get somewhere fast but walking is the way now.

Jadyn
3 Years Old
Yep, she turned 3 on Sunday the 6th. We had cake and she blow that candle out like a champ. She got many new clothes thanks to both grandma's and she got her new "puppy;" the rocket ship from Little Einstein's. It has all the figures (Leo, June, Anne, and Quincy) and Rocket makes all the noises.
I'm a big girl now
She is out of the crib and into a bed. One day she decided she had enough of the crib and climb out. We couldn't keep her in it anymore. The funny thing almost every morning she gets out of bed, runs into Jaxson's room and climbs into the crib with him; I think she misses it.

J.J.
Half way there
JJ came home from school one day and there was a note from the teacher and in big letters was "JJ went to the bathroom on the potty." We had a party. Ice Cream, Candy, and Pizza. Since then he rarely has a wet diaper. #2 I am sure will come with time.

Joshua
2 and half left
Only 2 1/2 months left till he graduates the academy. Skills are over so he is back in the classroom learning all the laws of the land, according to Houston. We study for his tests together so I am learning a lot about being a police officer, too. During skills he was in the top 10 of his class out of 70 for the driving, shooting and defensive tactics.

Jill
"Work is Work"
When dad calls that is my favorite thing to say. I am just plugging along with life. I love my calling at church. I work with the 10 and 11 year old girls in the Faith in God program. It is a great break from the kids and my job. Those girls are so eager to learn new things. We talk about prayer, education, gratitude and manners and help the girls to set goals. They are all so beautiful.

School's almost Out Kinda

Well this March was some what of an eventful one. As many of you know Pi'ikea and I work at Apex Alarm. I am coming up on about two months of working there and Pi'ikea has worked there for about a month now and was promoted only after one week. She got an e-mail the week after her training from the Date Entry manager and she was offered the Team Lead spot. Each team makes up about 10 representatives. There are roughly 20 team leads over about 200 people. Everybody likes to make fun of me because she got a promotion only after a week and I am not even close to getting anything.
Other than that we are doing okay. I have a lot of projects that are due at the end of the semester that I will be losing some sleep over. The semester is over in about 2 weeks or so but we are both fortunate enough to be going to both the spring and summer semesters. So we really will not be getting a break from school. I will be taking a surveying class and an estimating class for my major while Pi'ikea will be finishing up some of her last GE classes.
We also celebrated Pi'ikea's birthday last Wednesday with some of our class friends and Mollie also stopped by. We played mini-golf, which I won by one stroke, and then played at the arcade and Pi'ikea won about 600 tickets on one little game. She got some random lotions and gift cards from her friends and some games even though she says the games are for me. We got Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii and also Dance Dance Revolution for the X-Box 360. We have already beaten Smash Bros. and she can't wait until the X-Box is fixed to play Dance Dance Revolution.
I had a mission reunion this past Friday which was quite nice. I was able to see a number of the missionaries that I served with and it was nice to relive some of the memories that we all had together. That is about it for this month. Until next time.

Happy April

Hello Family - Well I am still alive no matter how busy life gets. I finished 2 of the three presentations I have. My last one is on Tuesday and then I can start researching for my thesis and preparing for Romania. Nothing else has really been going on because of school. Mom, Dad, Kim, and Kaylee were able to come to my Easter Program that went really well. Kaylee had the giggles through sacrament and all my friends loved it because we don't get to hear the sound of little kids much. She was also a big hit because she handed out candy to everyone. Then Kaylee and I had a slumber party on Wednesday. My friend Jaimee joined us for a Tea Party (That is the picture) and our friend Ian came over and the four of us had a pillow fight. And then we watched Enchanted. Kaylee and I decided next time we have a slumber party we will invite more people to come and play with us. I also went to a Hindu festival called the Festival of Color. It was so fun we throw colored flour on each other. I went home completely covered in flour and looked like a pink oompa loompa. On Friday I had my mission reunion and once again I was in charge of the program. I made a video and just set up everything. It was fun to see all my mission friends again. Also we said good bye to President Hanson because he is going to serve in the Sweden temple for 18 months. Now I am njoying conference with John and Piikea and my friend Jaimee. Life is good and I am happy. I hope things are going well for all y'all. Love Mollie

TJ

Mom and Dad

Chaco Canyon Indian Ruins

Hi, everyone! Our computer is down, so I am listening to conference and using Kim's computer to update our activities in March. Dad and I spent the first two weeks in March living at Resident's Inn while the floors were redone. The first week, during the day, I was able to get into the basement and and make 4 quilts for the Young Women in our ward to tie and donate to the Humanitarian Center in Salt Lake. The evenings were spent at the hotel. Dad went on a weekend NRA certification camp for rifles. He had to leave early, so we could go to a dinner honoring volunteers for the Arapahoe District (Boy Scouts). Dad received the Distinguished Scout Award. He was surprised by the award, but honored. When we moved back home, we only had a few days before we left for Utah, so did not have the furniture moved in, so the floors could really dry. We went to Utah and had a great time visiting with family. We stayed with TJ and Tiffany and were able to visit alot of family members. We had dinner at the Golden Corral, Mollie and Grandma and Rod met us there. So we had a big group with TJ and his family and all of us. On Easter we were able to go to church with TJ's family and then down to Provo to hear Mollie's Easter program, and then back to TJ's house to have dinner with Kim's family, TJ's, John and Piikea and Mollie. The cousins had a small and quick Easter egg hunt and then had a chance to play on John's Wii. On Monday, we went to Provo to play and have lunch at a park. Grandma and Rod were able to join TJ's family and Kim's family to watch us all play. The kids had a great time swinging and feeding the ducks. On Wednesday Dad and I drove to Moab to met Karen and Larry. They have a friend who is a pilot, and he took us up in a 6 sitter plane and flew us over Arches, through canyons and around the Green and Colorado Rivers. It was beautiful and something we have never seen before. Part of what we flew over is closed to the public, so we saw parts of Southern Utah that people haven't been to in a while. After that we went to their house and got ready and went to the Monticello Temple to do sealings with family names. On Thursday, we went to Four Corners and then to Chaco Canyon to see the Indian ruins. The ruins were in New Mexico, so we had a long drive, but it was worth it. They were beautiful to see and to walk through. On Friday we drove home. On Saturday, before the Young Women's Conference, I got a new calling, Stake Young Women's 2nd Counselor. I will miss the Beehives in our ward, but Dad and I will be going to some of the same meetings and activities, so that will be good. So at the end of March, we are all moved in, and getting use to living in a furnished family room and kitchen.

Bone's Bunch

Hello Everyone!! As everyone knows this month has been pretty crazy with Nicole's "little" accident, but we are hanging in there and doing just fine. For those of you who don't know, while we were in Moab our little Olie fell of a bunk bed and broke her arm. We had to drive to Grand Junction for her to have surgery and than we spent the night in the hospital. All day she asked for an orange and juice. She couldn't eat anything and was so hungry. After the surgery, her doctor told me a better find her an orange because before she was put out she was begging for one and when she woke up, she was asking for one. (For more of the story, look at our blog at kimandwarren.blogspot.com) She is doing great and does pretty well with her left hand. Her arm probably weighs 5 lbs with her huge cast, so her balance is even more off than usual. I am pretty sure she is supposed to rest and relax, but that is absolutely ridiculous for Nicole. After the ER visit in Moab, she wanted to get up and play with all of the other children. She would fall down, grab her arm, say "OWWWW," get up, and play again. Besides the accident, the trip was alot of fun and I am sure we will go back again. We met some friends, Pat, Sue, and Mike down in Moab so it was alot of fun to be with them. The girls favorite part was driving around and singing "We Will Rock You." Before we went to Moab, we spent a week in Provo with Pat and family. Warren took Nicole skiing and one day Kaylee and I went with Warren. I am getting better, but sometimes I have to take a deep breath and just go for it. Here is a quick update of the girls:
Kaylee: Kaylee is enjoying Kindergarten, but Spring Break was a much needed vacation for her. Before Spring Break, she would come home from school and say, "Mom. I need a break and I am soooo tired. We do nothing fun all day." Because her school was closed for 3 weeks for mold, they have been playing catch up and it is very draining on her. This month she has discovered a new passion - puppet shows. She loves to put on puppet shows with her friends. She spends a lot of time making puppets out of brown paper bags, and Popsicle sticks. She has also started gymnastics and loves it. Her favorite part is jumping on the trampoline and doing back bends.Nicole: Besides the broken arm, she is doing great. She is improving on her speech and loves to play with her speech therapist. She was just assigned a new therapist, so she is in the process of adjusting to a new teacher. She loves school and her preschool teacher Miss Katie says she just loves having Nicole in her class. Miss Katie commented on how Nicole can be pretty silly at times and can get the entire class laughing. She still loves to play with her babies and loves to wear jeans. She will dig through her dirty clothes to find her 2 pairs of jeans. Mom was with me this weekend and we were on a search for new jeans for Nicole because her jeans have holes in the knees. Who knew it would be quite the pain to find jeans for a 3 year old, but she has the classic McVey problem - skinny waist, bigger bottom. We did find some really cute ones at Target for $6 bucks, so these will be perfect considering she will probably put holes in the knees in a matter of months. Here is a silly story for everyone. Conference weekend, I was at Mom and Dad's and I gave Nicole some Advil for her arm. I gave it to her at 9;00pm and it did the opposite of what it was intended for. Instead of calming her down, it made her extremely hyper. At about 9:45, she came running downstairs and jumped on Dad's lap. She was soooooooo high on the meds. She tried to eat Dad's toes, pushed herself off of Dad and acted as if she was falling over, and had the jitters. I asked her why it was so funny to almost fall down on her face, and she said while holding her nose, "I would fall down and broke my nose." She did not fall asleep until 11:00 pm, but she kept kicking her legs and wiggling her arms until 3:00am. At that time, I had enough and put her in with Kaylee.Taylor: Taylor has grown up a ton this past month. She is getting more confident walking, but has yet to let go and do it on her own. She is becoming quite the little monkey, climbing on everything and trying to get into everything that the girls are doing, especially their art stuff. Her favorite is the marker. I am sure one of these days I will find marker on something it shouldn't be on. She is also started to talk. Her favorite words are: this, mom, dad, arff (any animal she sees), a mixture of dog and puppy maybe puggie, and more. She is still very tiny, but is now a big 18 lbs.Warren and Kim: Warren is in Moab this weekend with some friends off roading. He is having alot of fun and is exhausted. I talked to him yesterday and he was telling me about falling off his dirt bike and some friends flipping over their handle bars. After talking about all of the accidents, he said, "But, I am having fun." Not much is going on with me, except for taking care of the girls and trying to keep Nicole from hurting herself. I also ran in a St. Patricks Day 5K with some friends and did it in about 28 mins. It was my first time doing one and I had alot fun. I now know I can probably do it alittle faster, so I will see if I can do it the next time.
I hope y'all enjoy conference this weekend and enjoy listening to our new prophet.
