Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We hope everyone had a great Halloween and month of October. Paul and I had a fun filled month. We finished decorating our house and it looks great. Mom and Dad came over for dinner one night. We went to the ward's Trunk or Treat and decorated our car which was fun. I wish we had a picture but we forgot our camera. We had small ghosts taped to the ceiling and they would blow in the wind. Some of them blew away. There were tons of kids there.
We also had Paul's nephew Steve and his wife Meri over for FHE and we carved pumpkins. I have to say that for our first time doing one of those bought cut outs...our pumpkin rocked. I attached a pic so y'all can be the judge but I think it is pretty amazing.
On Halloween, Paul and I started our first family tradition. We actually did it last year for Halloween and did it again this year. We have dinner in a pumpkin. I attached a picture of that too. It is so good. It is a rice mixture put inside a pumpkin and baked inside it. When it is done, you eat the mixture with the pumpkin. It is delicious. If anyone wants to try it, I will gladly give you the recipe. We then went to Paul's brothers for homemade doughnuts.
Everything else is going well. We are just enjoying our first few months of marriage and are looking forward to the fun Holidays ahead. We did get our callings - we are both ward missionaries which will be fun. Paul is the Perfecting the Saints leader in Elder's Quorum and I am Relief Society pianist. I will definitely learn how to play the piano now.

I am grateful for all y'all and love y'all

Mollie and Paul

Hi from Mom and Dad

We had a busy October having dental and doctor appointments getting ready to turn in our mission paper work. But everything is done and are teeth are wonderful and we are basically healthy, but getting old. The highlight of October was going to Houston to visit Jill, Josh and kids, so as you can see, all of the pictures are of the kids. We were there over Halloween, so alot of candy and the kids in costumes.
Our cute little Jonah's first Halloween.

Jaxson was his favorite toy and TV show, Thomas the Train. We got to watch some Thomas shows and learned about a character we didn't know about, Creaky Cranky, an older train engine
that is showing his age, so we instantly started calling grandpa Creaky Cranky

JJ (Joshua) was a police man, like his dad. He looked great!

Cute little Jadyn was Tinkerbell. She would walk down the street and tell everyone that they were, "Soooo Beeeaaatifulll"

The kids love to help mom in the kitchen, they are making jello.

While we were in Houston, we were able to have lunch with many old friends. The lunch was to say "hi" to us, and goodbye to the Rumsey's who were leaving for their mission in Hawaii at the Polynesian Cultural Center. I didn't get a really good picture, but you will know the names. In the front, is the back on Norma Haines, Al wasn't there when I took the picture, next is Carol and MaryBeth Young, then Jan and Nathen Meehan, Merle and Dave Rumsey, not in the picture, but setting next to Dave was Brent and Nena Rawson, across from them Linda and Jim Stolle, Al and Cynthia Gluth, Dad, Ford, Bobbie and Duane Sevy. We had a great time at a new Mexican Restaurant that people from Los Cucos started. We were able to catch up with everyone and to find out what we are all doing in our retirement or looking forward to retirement, how many grandchildren we have and of course how wonderful they all are. The Rumsey's are in Hawaii and getting use to the wonderful weather and their assignments, Dave will learn the ukulele, Merle will learn the traditional Hawaiian quilting, and Ford will work at one of the restaurants.
I don't know where Jaxson is, but I had to put this very cute picture in of me and Jadyn, Jonah and Joshua. Have a great November and Thanksgiving.

Happy Turkey Day!!!

Hello all, I know I know, we should have done the blog two weeks ago. I really don't have any good excuses. Sorry. October was a fun month. For the first time in a long time Pi'ikea and I got dressed up for Halloween. Ok, Pi'ikea got dressed up while I wore my suit. Pi'ikea went as a Vampire Geisha, white face and all; I went as a married American business man that was seduced by the Vampire Geisha. I have bite marks on my neck; you can't see them in the picture though.

For Halloween we went to a friends house, had dinner and played some fun/interesting games. It was boys vs girls, boys won. Pi'ikea and I went head to head in a game that involved pulling tissues out of a tissue box one at a time as fast as possible. I won by just a second or two. I credit my many years of video gaming for the win.

Also a week or two ago Pi'ikea and I, with some friends from church, went to Las Vegas. We stayed with our friends grandparents and did the normal non-risque Vegas stuff: shopping, visiting the casinos, and seeing Cirque Du Soleil: Mystere. One of the couples we went with ended up being part of the show and it was really funny. Below is a picture of us in the Bellagio Lobby. Every season the Bellagio has a beautiful garden you can walk around.

Pi'ikea and Linsey met at church volleyball a month or two ago.

In other news, Pi'ikea has been looking for a new massage therapy job and was hired by The Grand Spa. It is the spa inside the Grand America Hotel. The Grand America is a ridiculously high-end hotel that was built by Jacobsen for the Olympics in downtown Salt Lake City. You should check out the website. It is very nice. Right now she is mainly on call, but once the ski season starts up she will become busier. I am staying busy at work as well. We are bidding a lot of work and are winning jobs here and there. As I have said before, Jacobsen is very lucky to have the City Creek Center job in downtown Salt Lake City.

I hope everybody is enjoying their November. We love you all.

The Johnson Family

Hello Family -
I love the month of October!! The weather has been beautiful in Colorado and for the 2nd year in a row, it didn't snow on Halloween. YAY!! Even though Warren had to go to the hospital once and have is gallbladder removed a couple of weeks after his hospital visit, the month of October was FANTASTIC!! Here is our family update -

Kaylee: Kaylee is doing great!! She is extremely busy right now, but loves what she is doing. She goes to Ballet, gymnastics, piano, and activity day girls. What a busy girl - but she LOVES all of them. She is learning "Fur Elise" on the piano and it is fun for me because I am learning it along side her. Kaylee is learning a ballet routine to "Angels we have heard on High" for her Christmas Ballet recital and she is so excited about performing. We are actively working on learning The Articles of Faith for church, and for some reason #5 is giving her grief. She is having such a hard time memorizing it. School is coming along. She just finished her first book report on Koalas, and dissected an Owl Pellet in science. GROSS!! But, pretty cool. They found all sorts of bones and made a Vole out of the bones from the Owl Pellet.

Nicole: Nicole loves school and her teachers. She is learning a lot and her teachers are SO happy with her development thus far. Her favorite subjects are PE and recess. She just started spelling words this week, so the FUN has begun. Nicole is also loving gymnastics and swimming. She loves to swim in the pool and is getting more and more confident. She spends her mornings playing with all of her babies, coloring, doing homework, and going to the YMCA with mom to workout. Nicole loves the YMCA and loves to be the Mom of all the other children in the daycare. When I go to pick them up from the daycare, she is always holding the hands of a few little ones and helping them play.

Taylor: Taylor is my little buddy during the day and I love it. She is also enjoying her little preschool that I do with a few of my friends. Everyday Taylor is wearing a Princess dress and it is a constant struggle to get her to wear "Normal" clothes. She is getting better and I think she has finally realized that she stays alot warmer in "Normal" clothes. Taylor is in love with the movie "How to Train your Dragon." She carries the movie case with her ALWAYS !! She also loves Jessie from "Toy Story." One of my favorite things to do with Taylor is read my books while Taylor plays hairstylist. She loves to spray my hair, pretend color it, and brush out all the curls. I am also constantly drawing princesses for her.

Warren and Kim: Warren has been actively working on the basement and is recovering very well from his surgery. He lost alot of weight from being in the hospital and having surgery, but is definitely feeling better. Warren is SO ready for the ski season and so are the girls. I am remaining busy with normal stuff - taking girls to lessons, doing things for Young Women, reading all of the Harry Potter books (love them and have 1 more to go), and practicing yoga.

I hope everyone is doing well and we love y'all.
Enjoy the pics-

HAPPY HALLOWEEN. YUMMY MONSTER PIZZA!!

I can't believe it, but I placed 1st in our wards Chili Cook-off. WEIRD!!

Here we are, ready for our Halloween party!! Nicole the MEAN witch, Taylor our little cowgirl Jessie, and our beautiful Indian princess. She couldn't decided on a name, so I told her about Dances with Wolves and gave her the real name of Sunkmanitu Tanka Ob Waci. She loved that name and so she would introduce herself as Sunkmanitu Tanka Ob Waci. Someone asked me if I was Lady Gaga. Do I look like Lady Gaga? I was going for a Jester, but oh well.

I love this picture!! The girls are dancing on the hill in front of our house. They were so excited about Grandma Pat coming to see us.

YAY for our garden. This year was not as good as others, but the carrots, zucchini, and green onions were delicious!! YUM!

Kaylee was my big helper. She pretended to be a Native American gardening and getting ready for the winter. Kaylee names this carrot BOB. Why do we name everything Bob?

Kaylee participated in a Cheer Camp with the AirForce cheerleaders and had such a great time. She got to perform during one of the Air Force football games halftime shows and she said it was pretty scary to be on the field with all those people watching her.

Grandpa and Kaylee went to a Daddy Daughter Activity night because Warren had just had surgery. Thanks Dad. Kaylee had such a great time.

Nicole dresses up as the Bakers Man for her Mother Goose day. She stood up in front of the class and recited the Bakers Man rhyme by memory for the entire class. I was so impressed and proud of my little Olie. She did AWESOME!!
