The Johnson Family

Hello Family-
I hope everyone is doing great!! We have been extremely busy around here with nonstop activities, but we are doing great. Last month, we had 2 birthdays and have 2 birthdays this month. The weather here has been AWESOME and BEAUTIFUL!! The girls have been playing outside and enjoying the nice, unseasonal, warm weather. We go to the park about 2 times a week because it has been in the 60s. NUTS!!
Here is our update -

TAYLOR:
Taylor is busy, busy. She is growing up really fast and talking more and more. She is constantly getting into things and trying to help. (Trying being the key word) Taylor now wants to walk everywhere she goes and be like the BIG girls. At church, she wanders up and down the aisles socializing with everyone. She loves to color and her favorite is when Dad draws pictures for her, especially of "ruffs" or "cars." I can not believe she is now 2, but I will write more about that next month.
She loves to hide in this cabinet. If I am looking for something, it is most likely in this cabinet.

Taylor got this Nemo and Dory from Warren's staff and she takes them everywhere she goes. They are huge, but she wants them all the time.

NICOLE :
Our sweet little Olie is doing great. She is learning new skills everyday and loves her ABCs. She is constantly singing, "The A says AHHHH. The B says Ba...." She also likes to dance and watch basketball. Last week, she went to a BYU/Airforce Basketball game and loved it. Warren said she was quiet the entire game and just stared. All week long, she slept with her basketball ticket. She LOVES basketball!!

Since the weather has been so warm, we have been able to practice riding a bike. She is slowly getting it, but works hard. We go from Stop sign to Stop sign and when she makes it to the end, she is so HAPPY and PROUD of herself.

Nicole is always ready for a snack, especially hot chocolate. My friend told me about Peppermint Bark Icecream from Haggen Daz and it is DELICIOUS in hot chocolate. YUMMY!!

KAYLEE:

Kaylee is doing great. She loves school and loves to read. She loves to read books to Nicole and Taylor. Her favorites have been "Where the Sidewalk Ends" and any Junie B. Jones book, especially one called "Junie B. Jones Loves Handsome Warren." She says it is SILLY! Warren took her skiing and she is now a PRO!! She went down some blue runs and was in complete control. Warren said it is fun for him to go because she is enjoying it and more independent. We have been working hard on math. She is like her mother - she makes excellent grades, but math is not her favorite. So, we have been playing games on the computer and using flashcards.

Kaylee is in an Art Class (Little Picasso's) every Wednesday. She loves it!!!

Kaylee turned 7 on the 23rd and had a great birthday. The week before her actual birthday we went to Highschool Musical on Ice. THE GIRLS LOVED IT (that includes me.) It was a great show. Troy looked liked Troy, they played basketball on the ice, and Sharpay drove around a pink golf cart.

She had a great day and I can't believe she is 7!!

KIM AND WARREN:

I turned 31 this month. NO big deal. It was a great day. I went to a Hockey game the night before and on my birthday, we went skiing. Thanks to Mom and Dad who watched the girls, so I could work on my skiing. That night we went to Del Frescos for dinner. It was a great day. Warren is busy doing end of the year tax stuff and loves going skiing. His work days are hard and nonstop, but that is fine.

Our biggest news last month is our new dog Cocoa. We bought her 2 weeks ago and she is adorable. She is a 2 year old miniature dachsund and is a pretty good dog. The girls love her and she loves them right back. It is definately an adjustment, but well worth it.

Have a great month!!

Love ya-Kim, Warren, Kaylee, Nicole, and Taylor www.kimandwarren.blogspot.com
