Happy Easter!

I know, I know, it is late again. At least I am doing it. March was pretty eventful for Pi'ikea and me. At the end of the month Pi'ikea went to visit her family in Hawaii. She misses her family and wants to go back all the time. All of our nieces and nephews on her side are growing up ridiculously fast. While she was out there she was able to attend a cousin's wedding and see a lot of her family. If you are on Facebook she has some of pictures from the trip. When she returned she brought back the new addition to our family, Chloe.

Pi'ikea's parents breed pugs. The most recent litter had seven little puppies. Chloe is the runt of the litter but is the smartest. She is our little dare devil and escape artist. Just yesterday she got the courage to jump off the couch. She was so excited that she started running around the family room. We put her back on the couch and the very next thing she did was jump off the couch again and run around. She is growing up very very fast. After all of that running she gets pretty tired.

She likes to sleep by the sliding door because the sun comes through the window and keeps her warm. She is almost potty trained, we have had very few accidents. We are starting to take her outside more now that the weather is warming up.

Oh, the name Chloe. I came up with that one. We liked the name Zooey/Zoey/Zoe but our friend Tricia has a little pug with that name and that wouldn't work. Chloe's mom's name is Cleo from Cleopatra. I put the names together and came up with Chloe. I was thinking of spelling her name Khloe like Khloe Kardashian but we didn't want people to think we named her after that Khloe.

Other than taking care of our new puppy not much is going on. Work, as always, is busy for me. We have a lot of bids coming up over the next month or two. Hopefully we will win a few of those. Pi'ikea is staying busy with appointments ever now and again at the Grand America. We love y'all and hope you enjoy Easter.
