The Johnson Family

Hello Family-
I hope everyone is doing well and so sorry this is so late, but here we are with a quick update from our family.  The past 2 months have been crazy busy, but full of fun.  The girls started school, we went to Lake Powell, gymnastics, swimming, and ballet have also begun.  Warren moved his office in Gleneagle to another location, and it is a wonderful spot with a beautiful view of the mountains.  The days are just flying by with our school routine, baby routine, and life.
Taylor figured out how to ride her bike without training wheels...finally.  She is growing in confidence and it is wonderful to see.  It is nice to see her not walk her bike down the driveway slope, try the monkey bars, and actually do a somersault without fearing for her life.
Isn't she beautiful! I sure do love this girl and she is so excited to finally be with her sisters at school.
This is where Blake spends a lot of his time.  His "throne" is his second home, and he also spends a lot of his time in feetie jammies!!

Nicole loves 2nd grade and loves her teacher.  She also loves her horse backpack and lunch box.  Every day her hair is in pigtails or piggie braids.
Here is my big 5th grader.  The most exciting thing for her was her new earrings - blue turtles.  She loves turtles and wants one desperately.  She is also really into polka dots!!

Taylor was pretty sad on the first day of school because she wanted to go with her sisters.  She had to wait until the afternoon, but mom and Taylor had a good time in the morning before school playing games, doing her homework, and reading.
First day of school tradition...silly string fight!!  Good times.

Over Labor Day weekend, we went camping with some friends.  It was freezing cold and Blake was a trooper.  Warren wasn't too thrilled about Blake wearing an outfit with ears, but I think he looks adorable.

The next day was beautiful and it was perfect for 4-wheeling.  Kaylee did hurt her wrist when she fell off her quad.  She was in a splint for about 6 weeks.  I swear...our family can't do anything without someone getting hurt.
Blake is almost one!! I can't believe it!!  He loves to play with socks, underwear, blankets, paper bags, etc.
He is also getting better at standing up, but he has to hold onto something or he tumbles right over giggly the entire time.

Poor little guy finds himself stuck underneath things all of the time.  He gets stuck under chairs, tables, and the dishwasher when it is open.  We sure do love this little guy.

This is Nicole's favorite naping spot.  She will go outside to play and jump, but within minutes she is dead alseep on the trampoline.
We also went to Lake Powell in September.  This picture was taken at 11pm.  We just got to Lake Powell.  The kids were so excited!!  The know the routine - get out of the car, find your life jacket, put it on, and load everything fron the car into the carts.  We than wheel the carts down to the houseboat where we quickly unload and try to go to sleep.  The first night is always a long night, but the girls love it!!
This year was quite the adventure with little Blake at Lake Powell.  He spent a lot of time in his high chair eating watermelon.  The flies loved to swarm around his highchair...it was pretty disgusting.
Kaylee learned how to fish on this trip and caught a ton of fish.

I just love this picture.  Blake was so tired during this trip and would really only get naps while riding on the boat.  He did such a good job and was loved by everyone!!
The kids loved this little hole in the beach and teepee.  Thery found numerous lizards and dug a ton of holes.  NO one got hurt...this time!!
On the way home, we drove through Aspen to look at the beautiful fall colors.  Warren is such a trooper when it comes to this tradition.  I love looking at the fall colors and it was beautiful.

Love you-
The Johnson Family
