Bone's Bunch

Hello Family-
I hope everyone is having a fun beginning of Spring. We are enjoying the days that are warm, but the random snow is pretty annoying. Also, our family has had endless runny noses and ear infections - so needless to say, Spring is not treating us too well. Even though I am sick of wiping noses and medicine, we still had a pretty good April.

Kaylee- Kaylee has been pretty busy with school and playing. Her biggest news this month is being in gymnastics for about 3 weeks. She loved the first class, but the coming lessons were DREADFUL. She would cry the entire time, find a corner to sit and sulk, or come running up the stairs to find me. A gymnast with dreadlocks would take her out of the class and work with her one on one, but it would take her 40-45 minutes to warm up to him. She just hated it. It was not fun and it intimidated her. Anyways, at week 4 we told them we were done. They understood and Kaylee was relieved. Luckily, they gave me credit, so we will try with Nicole when her arm is better. She wants to try ballet again when summer is over.
Of course, Kaylee is still coloring non stop and coming up with art projects. This month she has made a dinosaur village, family portrait wall, and Highschool Musical notebook . Her imagination never ceases to amaze me. She is getting better and better at snow skiing. This past weekend, Warren went up with some other men from our ward and they all took their kids. Kaylee kept up with the 10 year olds and was pretty proud of herself.

Nicole: Nicole's biggest news is her cast is off - BUT, she now has a new soft cast. It is alot smaller and not as heavy. It had to be white, so we decorated it with flowers and glow in the dark beads. She picked the beads off one by one, but she still likes the flowers. When she got the cast off, she did great. I couldn't believe how she just sat there as they sawed, took the pins out, and wrapped it back up. She would look up at the technician and say "I'm done and I need my Daddy." She would than start to smile and laugh. She is also doing great at school. Her teachers say she is opening up more and more. A couple of weeks ago she brought her basketball to show and tell. She showed everyone how to dribble, kick, throw, and best of all - dunk. She loves to dunk a ball. Warren and Nicole like to play catch and act like they are dunking the ball into each other's arms. Her favorite new show is a Leap Frog movie about the alphabet and the sounds the letters make. She goes around singing, "The A says AHHHHH. The A says AHHHH. Every letter makes a sound. The A says AHHHHH." She loves it.

Taylor: She is being adorable!! We all love her a ton. She is becoming an expert crawler and getting very fast. Poor thing is on her 3rd ear infection and getting her molars. She has her moments of sadness and crankiness, but is doing pretty well. She has absolutely no interest in walking on her own. She will walk behind her walker, cruise along things, and walk when we hold her hand, but when we let go - she sits down and crawls as fast as she can. Her favorite things to do now are color on anything she can find, pull down a basket of toys from a bench and than sit down, scream at her sisters when they get too close, say "Ruff" to any animal she sees, wave bye, and scrunch up her nose when she smiles. We love watching her personality develop.

Warren and Kim: Besides being sick, we are doing fine. Warren went on a trip with boys to Moab and came back in one piece. He has been working hard on shelves in the garage and those are finally done. We have been watching alot of basketball playoffs and were pretty sad that the Dallas Mavericks lost - but we will now root for the Jazz. I am doing fine, just keeping myself busy with the girls. I have been running alot and starting to work in the yard. I am surprised at how much I enjoy gardening. Elder Holland is coming for our Stake Conference in a couple of weeks, so our Stake is buzzing with excitement.

This is pretty typical. Nicole loves to jump on the little trampoline while Taylor is peacefully sitting.

We love y'all and hope you have a great month.
