School has Started...

Wait, I don't have to go to school anymore. MUAHAHAHA. Being a college graduate is a nice thing. Although it is not as easy to skip work as it was to skip classes. But, I never ever skipped class so that doesn't matter. Neither did Pi'ikea. We were outstanding students.

August and September were pretty busy for Pi'ikea and I. As everybody knows, we purchased our first home. Most of you have seen it now; however, pictures are on a previous post if you have forgotten what it looks like. Our new address is below.

491 South Olive Place
Lehi, Utah 84043

The house is great. It is nice to come home to a house instead of an apartment. We still have a lot to do and probably always will have a lot to do. The yard was worked on a few days after Mollie and Paul's wedding, thanks to those that helped. Since then we have pulled a few more weeds, there are still quite a few more weeds to pull. As TJ mentioned when he visited our house, the yard is not grass it is just weeds.

Also, my hotmail email account was hacked, sorry for the misc. emails if any of your received them. My new email is john_pii@comcast.net. Pi'ikea's email is piikeamcvey@gmail.com. Just in case anybody was wondering.

Work for both of us has been very busy. At Jacobsen we have been bidding a lot of work, but for some reason have not been getting a lot of the jobs. We think there is some conspiracy out there against us. We did not win the Utah Data Center job. That went to one of our local competitors who has been winning most of the jobs interestingly enough. We have been one of the top competitors each time, but each time something happens and we don't get the job.

The spa where Pi'ikea works has been on and off with how busy it is. Some days are crazy with no room for a little break; while other days are super slow with hardly any clients. This time of year is always like that for the spa industry. With the winter season coming up soon they are bound to get much busier.

In other news we will be traveling to Hawaii this weekend. We leave this Friday, October 15, and I get back the Wednesday after and Pi'ikea will get back a few days later on the weekend. If we remember to take pictures we will post them next month. Anyways, we love you all and hope your October goes will.
