Hi from Mom and Dad

May was the final leg of our farewell tour. More about that later. The second week in May we started getting the yard in shape, but hit a little snag when a late spring snow storm hit. I thought it was April showers bring May flowers, but no, this year May showers brought June flowers. We had so much rain in May, that it made up for the lack of snow in the winter. We babysat the Johnson girls while mom and dad where in Chicago for a convention. Friday they played outside in their bathing suits, but on Saturday, it was cold and we put them to work picking up all of the sticks in the yard. We kept track of the number of sticks, and paid them a penny a stick. They all did really will. Anytime we asked Taylor how many sticks she collected, it was 5, whether there where ten or one.

Mollie and Paul came over to make Pizza with the girls. It was a big hit. They got to pick out what ever they wanted on their pizza.
A dear friend of ours, Anne Condie, was moving to Connecticut, her husband was already there, they sold their house earlier then they thought they would, their youngest daughter was graduating from High School, and their oldest was getting married, and they had no place to stay in-between all of this, so for about 10 days they stayed with us. We had alot of fun, but also sad to see them go. On the 26th we left for Utah to visit family. We stopped by Diane and Scott's and were able to see Scott and the girls, then on to TJ's. We had a great time with everyone.

Unplanned, but really fun, Kim and family, and Mollie and Paul where all in Utah over Memorial Day weekend and also my 60th birthday, so we had a party with alot of family. Diane, Mary, Kristen, and Grandma McVey where then also.

Piikea made me this beautiful lei to wear on my birthday

JJ, Jadyn, Jaxson and Jonah sent me these beautiful pictures

Some of the cousins together. They had a lot of fun in the basement running around and playing.

On Monday and Tuesday, we stayed with John, Piikea and new puppy Chloe. We helped in their yard. They had already started, so we just helped finish what they started.
We had a great time visiting everyone, and really look forward to June with everyone coming here. Only 6 weeks before we leave. We are getting very excited, yet a little nervous of the unknown.
