Life has been really busy with birthdays, last days of school, baptism, family, etc. I love it when it is busy, but journaling kind of goes out the window. I hope everyone had a great May. I love the month of May with all of the excitement for summer. Here is a quick update through pictures of our family:
Nicole's Baptism:
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa. Nicole loves her journal, necklace, and pen...especially the pen.
Here is everyone for Nicole's baptism. She looked beautiful and enjoyed the day.
Nicole loves her baby brother. She is always giving him hugs and kisses.
Nicole was alittle nervous and anxious before and during her baptism. We had to take her to a separate little place to get away from all of the attention. Sometimes she just needs some alone time...
This picture was taken right before going inside to change. You can already see her anxiety...but this is how she looked afterwards. Such a change in her attitude and appearance. It was a very special day for our family.
This picture cracks me up...we had 3 babies during the weekend. Warren's sister Jenny came with her 3 kids, including a 2 month old, Mollie had Lilah, and of course Blake. Each baby was taken care of depending on each babies developmental abilities. We had babies on swings, jumpers, and playmats.
Over Memorial Weekend, we went to Estes park with some friends. We camped and hiked. We had a great time.
The nights got really cold~
May also brought the end of school. Nicole loved her teacher and she loved her. She retired this year and she will be missed.
I decided to take a picture of the girls on the last day of school holding pictures of themselves from the 1st day of school. Taylor looks so different!!
I also got creative this year and made the teachers clipboards for end of year gifts. This one has each child's fingerprints on the tree.
Taylor also helped me garden and plant some flowers. It was quite the adventure because sweet Taylor decided to do some of it all by herself...which meant pulling off the flowers and laying them in the garden. Needless to say, Mom was not very happy.
Nicole had a huge birthday party and a trampoline place. She got to jump around with her friends for 1 1/2 hours. They were very worn out and had a great time.
Blake is now 7 months old and is finally rolling over. He still can't get the rolling over from his stomach to back...but we will see what happens this month.
