Johnson Family

Here are pictures of the month of June.  Sorry this is what you get this month...but, pictures are awesome and can tell the story too...Right?!

Nicole's Baptism - It was a great day.  Full of the unexpected. Nicole was a little nervous...okay, a lot nervous, but it still managed to be a special day for our family.

Jenny and her 3 kids came from Utah, Pat came, and Mollie and Paul came from Denver.  The house was packed and lots of fun.  Each baby was at a different phase...Lilah on the floor under the toys, Blake bouncing in his exercisor, and Liam in the swing.  Robbie is not really a baby, but he had fun watching all of the babies.

Father's Day...The girls decorated BIG CEREAL bowls for Warren.  He is always wanting 2 bowls of cereal and now he can eat it all in one BIG bowl.

Kaylee performed her original composition that won state at the Winner's Recital.  She loved this Grand Piano!

Taylor went with Warren to the Annual Fathers and Sons campout for our ward.  Nicole and Kaylee are getting too old, but Taylor is at the perfect age.  They slept in the back of the car and had a great time.  Taylor saw a rattlesnake and talked about it for days.

Mollie and Lilah came down to Colorado Springs while Paul was out of town.  We went to the pool, hung out, and went on the lake.  It was a fun time.

Kaylee got her ears pierced.  Here is the Johnson Family rule, you can get your ears pierced when you learn to slalom ski or you turn 12.  Well, she is not 12 so....she got up on one ski.  She got up 4 times in a row and went all around the lake.  She was so excited and scared.  I will have to get the pictures off of our video camera, but it sure is fun to watch how excited she got.

She was very determined and made sure the lady knew what she was doing.  She did not want the earrings to be to low.  She wanted them right in the middle of her ear...so she had to check and check again before they got the gun out.

June also brought the Waldo Canyon fire.  This is the fire from our house on the first day.  I was running and saw this during my run.  It looked like this for a few days and than a storm came and it quickly became awful. Ashes fell from the sky, the sky turned orange, and a sense of fear was in the air.  Taylor kept drawing pictures of the fire.  We know a few families that lost their homes or have serious smoke damage.  It was a frightening few days for our loved city.

Blake turned 8 months old in the month of June.  He is now rolling over in both directions...but isn't too motivated because his loving sisters get him everything he could ever want, which is something Mom is trying to stop.

He loves the color orange and anything he can put in his mouth.  He grunts all the time and loves to say, "EWWWW."  He is not quite sure about food unless he can feed it to himself.  We sure do love our Blakesters.

Love ya-
The Johnson  Family
