Happy New Year!

Well a lot has happened since Paul and I last wrote but it was a wonderful 3 months.

October was fun. It was too long ago to remember exactly what hapened, but Halloween was fun. We went to our wards Trunk or Treat and Paul took Lilah around with some other friends. Lilah was a cute frog. We didn't take her out on Halloween to neighbors but we took some cute pictures of her with our pumpkins.

November was amazing. I was over the Primary Program for our ward which went really well. The election was a sad time Paul. We had a Romney sign in our yard. It was stolen 2 days before the election. We also tried to go to a rally with Romney but they oversold the even and we didn't make it in. The highlight of November and our year was to go to New Zealand. We first got to see Grandma and Grandpa Mortensen and Charlie's family. It was fun to see them. We went to the Reagan Library which was fascinating. We then headed over to New Zealand and were there for 3 weeks, 2 of which were with Mom and Dad. It was the most amazing trip. We went all over the North and South Island. Highlights were Hobbiton, Milford Sound, Maori Village, the Temple, Bay of Islands, Mt Cook, etc. New Zealand truly is the most beautiful country in the world. Lilah was a complete angel and loved being with her grandparents. Paul's Birthday was while we were in New Zealand which was fun.

December was a lot of fun too. We got to see Kaylee perform in the Nutcracker. She had a little solo and was amazing. We went to Utah for Christmas and spent most of the holidays with Paul's family. Lilah was totally spoiled and loved every second of it. We also got to spend Christmas dinner with John and Pi'i and later that night we went and saw The Hobbit. We also got together with Kim, TJ and John. I also got to see my graduate friends. It was nice to talk art again. I also got a new calling. I am in Young Women.

So that is a wrap up of the past 3 months. Paul is good and so am I. Lilah is growing up tons. She crawls now and is in to everything. She has started to pull up on things too. She is a curious little girl and wants everything and anything she can get her hands on. We have started to teach her sign language and she picked some of it up fast. She is just too cute.

We hope it is a good year for everyone.
