The Johnson Family

Hello Family-
What a CRAZY month. It went by so fast and it is all blurred together. We had our 10 year anniversary, Nicole's 5th birthday, last days of school with FUN activities, a family ski trip to the "Araphahoe Basin Beach," and a trip out to Utah. CRAZY!!
Here are some of our highlights:

First time out on the lake. Water was pretty cold, but the girls love to go on a FAST boat ride.

Family trip to A Basin on the Beach. This is a part of the ski resort where you can Tailgate from your car at the bottom of the ski lift. It was alittle cold, but the girls did great.

One of my favorite times of year...GARDEN TIME!! I planted carrots, green onions, zucchinni, lettuce, pumpkins, and snap peas. YUM!! Can't wait!!
TAYLOR - Taylor is our little BOOK WORM. She wants to read all day long and begs for someone to read to her all the time. She loves to carry around purses, backpacks, books, Barbies, and markers. We are in the beginning stages of Potty Training which is always an adventure. She loves the girls being home with her and asks for them right when she wakes up. Her absolute favorite color is orange and she must have orange everything!!

Taylor loves hats!! I agree with her shirt...she is so CUTE!!

One of her many places to"Read."

Playing in the snow at Arapahoe Basin.

NICOLE:
Nicole had a great month. She had a BIG birthday party with 13 little girls and it was pretty crazy. She was spoiled with lots of yummy treats and great presents. She also finished preschool and was pretty sad on the last day. She loved Miss Megan, but is excited to start Kindergarten. Nicole still loves to play with babies, but her greatest joy is riding her bike. SHE DOES GREAT!! I am so happy for her. Nicole loves to play with friends and loves to make them laugh.

Last day of school with Miss Megan.

Skiing with Dad. She had a hard time at first and looked like a Ragdoll trying to stay up, but Warren motivated her with alittle threatening and she perked right up. Once she figured out the balancing, she did great.
KAYLEE:
Kaylee had a great month and finished 1st grade. She did great this year and has learned a ton. She misses her friends and teacher, but is loving the casualness of summer. This past month, she had her first piano recital and did great. Check out my blog to listen to her piano recital piece: http://kimandwarren.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2009-05-16T09%3A00%3A00-07%3A00&max-results=7 (Scroll through Nicole's birthday blog and than you can read the post on the recital).
Kaylee also finished her ballet class for the summer and has moved up to Ballet II. Her teacher is very impressed and is constantly telling me she has a natural gift. She looks very graceful when she dances and it is great to watch.
