Hello Everyone

We had a great October! We went from beautiful weather, to fall, to winter, then back to beautiful weather. We raked tons of leaves one day then shoveled snow for the next two days. We watched the girls while Kim and Warren were in Santa Fe and had a great time building forts and the tradition of a movie, popcorn and spicy drink.
Taylor wasn't quite sure about the forts to begin with, so she thought the ottomen would work just as well.
Kaylee and Nicole had a two room tent with a hall way in -between. They even had lights inside the tents so they could read.
Towards the end of October we went to Houston to visit Jill and family. We had a great time with everyone. Relaxing, making Halloween sugar cookies and carving pumpkins. Jill and Josh's new home was wonderful. The kids have plenty of room to run around and play. Of course, a visit to Houston wouldn't be complete without a typical down pour and thunder storms, but that didn't stop us from searching out great BBQ for lunch - Rudy's.
We had a great time with Jill, Josh, and kids. We come home to a yard full of leaves, so we raked and raked and raked and after about 15 bags of leaves, we were done, then in the morning we woke up to snow. Alot of snow for the next few days. Luckily Dad was on vacation so he spend his time off shoveling and I was able to stay warm inside.

The snow cleared up enough by Halloween that we drove down to see Kim and family. We had monster pizza for dinner and I went tricking treating with the girls and dad handed out candy.
Hope you all had a great Halloween and we look forward to Thanksgiving.
